Obituary of David E. DesLauriers

DesLAURIERS, David E. David died at St. Michael's Hospital on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. He will be sorely missed by his wife of 55 years, Beverley; his children Susan, John (Liesl), Paul and Michael (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Nicole, Joachim, Alexander, Wren, Emily and Oliver. He was predeceased by his oldest brother Gerry, sister-in-law Doreen and daughter-in-law Jiselle. David graduated from St. Michael's College of the University of Toronto in 1957, qualified as a C.A. and practiced for more than 40 years as a partner of Millard, DesLauriers & Shoemaker, LLP. David loved his house in Prince Edward County, where he spent much of his time over the last 25 years, travelled frequently throughout the world and spent seventeen springs in Portugal. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in ST. BASIL'S CHURCH, 50 St. Joseph Street on Monday, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow.
