Learned today of this sad news. Indeed a fine lawyer and gentleman. I met him at Court, when I was a 16 year old delinquent, back in 1975. After watching the Crown send people to jail all morning, I began to panic. Where the heck was he ? Right on cue, he walked into the court room. I thought the Crown was going to jump into his lap. When my case was called next, I thought the irritated Judge was wondering where the Crown was, metaphorically speaking. The prosecution could best be summarized as "What Frank said, Your Honour ".Conditional Discharge.
The experience and his influence left quite an impression. Our subsequent meetings and there were many, over the years, had me on the right side of civil law matters. I'm sure the Big Guy in the sky waved him through the gates. Professional courtesy.
Rest in Peace Frank.
