Loving condolences to Uncle Gordon, Stephen and Cindy, Alan and Mara, Glenn and Jennifer, and their families. I am thankful for the 88 years of Aunt Marian's life. Her love of family, generous kindness, and sense of humour are cherished memories. I used to joke with Aunt Marian that she was the only person I knew who had a national holiday declared on their birthday. Her and Canada. I fondly remember being Aunt Marian and Uncle Gordon's flower girl sixty years ago now at First Presbyterian Church in Collingwood. What a beautiful young woman Aunt Marian was. Aunt Marian loved sports. Raising three athletic sons provided many opportunities to live out that love of sports. And, when our son Joshua was increasingly involved in baseball, Aunt Marian knew all about the coaches he had from their involvement in the Leaside community. How appropriate that her Toronto Blue Jays won on the day she passed from this world. We spoke a few weeks ago now, just prior to the first Wright Family Reunion in almost forty years that Uncle Gordon and Aunt Marion would not be traveling to Uncle Bob and Aunt Kay's farm on Blue Mountain to attend. Summing up the family reunions over the years she said, "It's been fun!" Aunt Marian's last words to me were, "You call anytime". Until me meet again Aunt Marian, thank you for the cherished memories and for your love, Janice and family
