Obituary of Jane Sedgwick

Jane Scott Sedgwick January 18, 1957 August 1, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Scott Sedgwick. Jane died peacefully at home surrounded by family. Jane was predeceased by her parents, Doctor William Scott Sedgwick and Margaret Jean (nee Shorteed). She was the proud mother of Robert Scott, mother-in-law to Katie and loving grandmother to Kylie. Jane will be greatly missed by her sisters Margaret and Elizabeth, her brother James and nephew Luke. Jane cultivated not only flowers, but relationships with a circle of lively and devoted friends. Throughout her successful business career, Jane was much admired, resulting in many long term friendships. Jane enjoyed her homes in Woodstock, Toronto and Sand Lake. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29 at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue).
