i had the pleasure of working with Janet for many years on various research projects as her client at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar. Janet was a remarkable woman, always professional, caring, and extremely knowledgable. Among other things, we shared a love of gardening and chatting about life in general. Rest in peace my dear friend. My condolences to the Lazaris and Robertson families.

Janet was a woman of great integrity; she always lived and spoke true to herself and her beliefs. She also loved debating and was often willing to change her mind when faced with a good argument. Her mentorship has been pivotal to my professional success. Janet leaves behind an amazing legacy in the generations of researchers she has taught, nurtured, challenged and otherwise moulded. I'm so sorry to hear of Janet's passing. She was a wonderful person and my memory of her will always be with her laugh and twinkle. A consummate professional, Janet was always there to help with understanding her research world and you could always count on her for insights that really made a difference. A warm hearted soul, I enjoyed the many times we worked together and she will be missed by many. Sleep well dear Janet, you were "good people".
