My condolences to the family. I met Bill in Commerce and Finance, in the late 1960's, had not seem him all these years, but remember him fondly as a truly nice person. We interacted through the Commerce Club. May you know no more sorrows.

Dear Rauenbusch Family:
It was with great sadness that I read of Bill's passing. He was an excellent Lecturer (4 to 6pm, Thursdays, 1980-81 Winter Session). He always had time to talk with us and enjoy a few laughs. One time, he was kind enough to spend about an hour with me, to dissuade me from wanting to be a lawyer...while at the time I was a little devastated, throughout my life I've always been grateful for his insight at the time. A great man; a good guy - too early gone. My deepest condolences. Chris Stewart

Dad, more than two weeks now since you have said goodbye. I still am trying to concentrate on the good times, and awesome memories. I have times of extreme sadness and grief, but I think you are with me, because I always seem to end those feelings with more memories of how amazing my Dad was, and what a great friend you ALWAYS were to me. Dear Fran & Family, My thoughts are with you at this time. I was sad to hear the news of the passing of Bill unexpectedly. It was always a pleasure to see Bill and I really enjoyed helping him. He would always complete any exercises I asked because he had the constant drive to improve and get better. His diligence and application to his regular exercise was an inspiration. Tim, Chris, and Fran--I am so sorry to you all for your terrible, sudden loss. I am going to miss William. In the many visits to your home over the years, he never failed to make me feel welcome.
