My sympathy to the family. Lois and I had been Bridge partners since the 80's. Last few years at 4th Monday game at the Etobicoke Olympium. Travelled to Tournaments and enjoyed our successes, especially the Ottawa Tournament when we won 19 Gold Points! Lois purchased a painting in Ottawa and when we arrived in Toronto, by bus, it was raining. I stayed in a store with the painting while Lois went to pick up her car. I mss here friendship.

We were saddened but prompted to remember the many enjoyable and memorable times with Lois and Keith,Irv as a member of the Donalda past-presidents group and Edna as a regular and long time opponent at Donalda's bridge tables. We would like the family to know that we ranked them highly as friends and as quality people to know and remember. Irv and Edna

I got to know Lois both before and after she served as President of Donalda Club, during my tenure as General Manager of the Club. She was a leader, compassionate, caring and a good friend. Lois was the type of person who made a lasting impression on everyone she met. Although I left the Club in 2004, I often fondly remember Lois and our working together both before and after her Presidency. My deepest sympathies to her family. Bryan Sparks

Lois Callander was a huge part of my musical life. I was a member of Generation Gap with her, and also participated in a school choir that she had organized when I was in grade school. Lois has always been dear to my heart, someone that I looked up to and admired. I was a true fan in so many ways. I am very glad that I was able to see her last year when she came to Flin Flon to scatter Keith's ashes. I had wondered at that time if this would probably be our last visit together. Turns out it was. Thank you Lois for enriching my life, and being a teacher, not only of music, but also of values that I hold dear. I was so blessed to have you as my mentor and friend.
