Dear Bill, Reta, Jeff, Rose, Kim, Peter and all your families, I was so sad to hear the news of Aunt Eve and I'm thinking of her and all of you. I have great memories of the times you came out "west" in the summers and especially remember being a very young girl and your mom bringing me a doll. It made a big impression on a girl used to her brothers' hand me downs! Your mom was always interesting and interested in everyone else. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love, Sue xox

Bill, Jeff & Kim: My condolences on the passing of your mother. She was a wonderful woman and I have fond memories of the times when she lived next to our family on Erie Bay, and then when your family moved to River Heights on Oak Street.

Rick and I were very sad to hear about Eva. I was very fond of Eva and was so grateful that she was a part of my dad's life. I was always moved by how much Eva cared about others and was truly interested in my life and the things that mattered to me. She was smart, funny, spirited and a great conversationalist. I truly enjoyed the times we spent together. Eva was part of a couple of very special occasions in my life, both in Squamish BC and in Goderich ON, and we always welcomed her with open arms. While the last few years were difficult with all the challenges that growing older brings, Eva always had grace and dignity and a great sense of humour. I will miss her dearly.
