Doris lived a long life and lived it well - to the very best of her abilities. She shared a small part of that life with me and my mother, Buddie Longtin. She enriched our lives; she touched our hearts.
She has passed, but will never pass from our memories.
Till we meet again...

The Tilley Endurables Team expresses its condolences to Dora's family. She was one of our connections to her brother Jack. She would drop by the Don Mills store and say hello, always smartly attired and interested in our new developments. I admired her spunk and independence.

Dora and I had been friends for years, having met just as "Tapestry" got underway. We had mutual friends with Barb and Wally Baron who lived in Tapestty near her unit and I had occassion to meet her often in the Don Mills Mall and in Anthony's. I believe she and Wally served on the board. As everyone has been saying, she truely was a marvellous lady, with that special twinkle in her eye, and a soft spoken elegance about her. I work for a local realtor and she was always took time to come over and say "hello" and ask how "business was" when we met in the mall. I know Dora missed the closeness of family at times and may she now rest in peace and in the company of angels.

Although you do not know who I am, I share your loss. I am the Infiniti sales representative from whom Dora purchased her vehicles. I was so fond of her. She was the sweetest, gentlest, classiest women I ever had the privilege to know. She had a great sense of humour and I treasure all the conversations we had. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.
