My sincere condolences to the family. Cliff's integrity,supportive nature, empathetic instincts and unassuming style were qualities to admire.I had the privilege to interface with Cliff as a collegue and a "boss"as well. The latter when he filled the role as head of our Inteernational Region .Good fortune smiled upon me as, through the venue of quarterly CRABS luncheon sessions ,I was able to maintain regular contact with him in retirement. A man who will be much missed by many!

Dear Marcia and extended family.So sorry and saddened to learn of Cliff's passing. I (Henry) had the pleasure of working with and for Cliff over many years. Firstly in Winnipeg, then in the International Division and later again in Vancouver. Always found him to be very supportive and encouraging. I enjoyed my 38 years with CIBC and want to acknowledge that Cliff was very much instrumental in this being the case. We have been created not to have our relationships broken and while we are saddened now with heavy hearts, we can take comfort in the fact that this relationship with Cliff will some day be restored. Cliff had a light shining within him , not unlike a glimmering candle. He added such lustre to life for his family and neighbors. He is greatly missed.

We send our condolences to Marcia and Family Cliff was a colleague at CIBC and I(Milt) got to know him best when I was appointed CIBC Ombudsman upon Cliff's retirement. He was very diligent in making sure that I quickly became conversant with the scope of the work he was doing - including introducing me to some key contacts right across Canada - so that I had every opportunity to carry on the work without interruption. During that time - and over the preceding years - Cliff was indeed a gentleman and also very capable as evident from the significant responsibilities entrusted to him over his long and distinguished career.
