ARTHUR WILBY
October 13, 1931 - March 2, 2015
Arthur died peacefully at home in his 84th year, 5 weeks after Gloria his beloved wife of 57 years. He was the loving father of Pam Catricala (John) of Oakville and Kristen (Rodney) Wilby of Toronto. Proud grandfather of Stephanie (Andrew) Catricala of Hamilton, John, Matthew and Michael Catricala of Oakville. Arthur was born in Stainforth, England, son of the late Arthur and Clara (Eastwood) Wilby. He was predeceased by his brother Norman Wilby and John Wilby, and his sister Alice Gott. Arthur came to Canada at the age 21 and settled in Hamilton, studying as a C.A. and becoming a partner of Thorne, Mulholland, Howson, & MacPherson, then retiring as a partner of KPMG in Toronto in 1989. Arthur was an active past golfer and avid bridge player at the Donalda Club in Don Mills. He was also an active member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Toronto. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9th at 1:00 p.m. in ST. PAUL'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, (227 Bloor Street East, Toronto, Ontario, M4W 1C8), with a reception to follow. Parking available at the Marriott Bloor Yorkville Hotel, 92 Bloor Street East.
