I was one of Susan's teachers when she was a student nurse. I remember the time she spend several weeks on a Styker frame after back surgery. I visited almost every day and we talked about a wide range of topics. She gifted me with a bottle of liqueur when she recovered. We lost touch after she graduated, but I was pleased to see all that she accomplished .

Susan was an excellent colleague of mine at ACAT, and provided steady leadership along with good humour. I respected her and admired her greatly and we all will surely miss her.
