Beth is still regularly in my thoughts. Mostly I remember her laugh and her smile which could both light up a room. Judy, I wish you and your family my very best.

It was an honor to know Beth and be part of our program here at Dementia Support, for a few months. During her stay with us, we get to know her a little bit; her cheerfulness, strong personality and love of other people despite of her condition. Beth will always be remember with her sweet smile and her whistles (to communicate with us). We love you and you will surely missed!

I have so many wonderful memories of Beth which always include her gorgeous throaty laugh and beautifully infectious smile. She was always so full of life and was a risk taker even as a young girl. Beth should never have had to endure what she did. Judy, Tom, Kelly, Lori and Janet--the unconditional love and support that you surrounded Beth with always, but especially during the past devastatingly difficult 18 months was truly amazing. You did everything possible for Beth and even the impossible. I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. XO

Jude you gave Beth the most incredible gift of all - the opportunity to feel the love she so richly deserved from her family and friends surrounded by the comfort of being at home. I knew Beth in high school and will remember her with a laugh, a smile and a vitality that no disease can erase. I am so sorry that my dear friend Kelly, her sisters Lori and Janet, Tom and you face the deafening quiet of loss but please know you are not alone and that there are so many people Beth touched in her life that share this grief with you. She will be a star in the sky you will always see.

I am heartbroken for your family. Whilst I did not know Beth well, I know first hand, the impact she made on so many that loved her. They all said the same thing, which is what I experienced. She lit up a room when she entered it, she did it in a style all her own, and you were better for having met her.

Jude: Beth was an exceptionally beautiful, lively, stylish woman with a great laugh, constant smile and sass. Like you, and all the Appelton girls, she was the centre of the room. She will be missed, but always thought of with a smile. Much love sent to you and your whole family Jude. xo

We are sending this message from the Antarctic, a land off ice, snow and austere beauty but nothing to compare to the warmth, personality and beauty of our dear Beth whom we will miss so much.. It is an absolute travesty of justice to have such a wonderful and radiant personality taken from us at such an early age. She may be gone from our mortal lives but will never, never ever be forgotten. We will miss that bubbly personality and mischievous laugh that brought so much pleasure into our lives.

A woman with such style, creativity and appreciation for the finer things in life, who loved her family deeply. I am so very sorry to hear about Beth. It has been many years since I last spoke to her and regretfully I only heard about her illness last week. I am absolutely shocked that this could happen to someone as beautiful and vibrant as Beth. Judy and her family have my very deepest sympathy for their devastating loss. Take comfort in the fact that she and Hadley are back together again in Heaven. I will fondly remember the many good times that we shared.

My deep condolences to all of Beth's family, friends and sweet animals. I can't believe what I read tonight. I am so very sorry. I really hardly knew her. However when I first interviewed her 21 years ago she instantly shown. Having interviewed thousands of people since, I do not flicker in hesitation that she is that one that sets others apart. Her pure joy, gutsy laugh, ocean sparkle, and piercing vision. Not to mention her natural fashion sense. Billboard without the runway. One thing is certain, Heaven has a new shining star. Lots of love, James

My sincerest condolences to the entire Appleton family. I last saw Beth at Richview's 50th reunion 7 or 8 years ago. It was lovely to catch up with Beth and reminisce about old times back in Highschool. She hadn't aged in over 25 years! She dated my brother Michael while at Richview and I admired her immensely. I became aware of Beth's illness shortly after she fell ill and always kept her in my thoughts. I wish you all strength during this most difficult time. Know that she is now at peace and watching over you.

I am sure that this struggle has brought your apparently close-knit and loving family even closer and I hope that gives you all some comfort.
