Obituary of Barbara Clarke

BARBARA JOAN CLARKE (nee DAVIDSON) After a courageous struggle, Barbara passed on Friday, January 9, 2015 in Toronto at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Tom. Loved mother of David (Donna), Joanne (Ibor Briones) and Ginny (David Bates). Proud "Granny" of Jamie and Kristy Bates, Jennifer and Ali Clarke and Rebekah, Sarah and Dante Briones-Clarke. Sister-in-law of Patricia Hunt, Peter Clarke (Janet) and Alf Tucker. In Barb's full life, she was a community organizer, competitive sportswoman, a leader and very active in many organizations including Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, The Granite Club, The Ladies Golf Club of Toronto and many major fundraising initiatives. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many. A service will be held on Friday, January 16th at 10 a.m. in TIMOTHY EATON MEMORIAL CHURCH, 230 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto, Ontario M4V 1R5.
