Doug, Shannon & Dillon Words escape me lately so I wish you find solace in pictures, fond memories and music I know you all love so much. Songs that come to mind for you at this time are The Byrds: To Everything There Is A Season (to soothe you) and to remember what a mother wants for her children Rascal Flatts: My Wish - Take Care.

It was with great shock and sadness that I read about Shelagh's passing in the newspaper. We worked together at the Children's Aid and were friends for many years thereafter. Unfortunately, we fell out of touch in the late 90's. Strangely, I was thinking about her on July 4th. She was an amazing person and her energy and perseverance were an inspiration. May your memories keep you strong through this difficult time.

Matt, Viv, Lucas, Gillis and Tristan. I'm so sorry about Shelagh. I noticed her sweet young face in the newspaper yesterday and without realizing who it was I had to read her story. What a lovely, interesting life she has had, although far too short. All the best from the Boase family.

Peter, I would like to offer you, and your children, my sincere condolences at this difficult time. I worked with Shelagh at Fidelity and, like many of her colleagues, stayed in touch with her even after she left the firm. She left a strong impression at Fidelity, where she is remembered for her personal warmth, empathy, and camaraderie. She was much-loved by her employees, who remained fiercely loyal to her, and was greatly respected by her colleagues, who admired her professionalism and drive. She tackled a very challenging job with her trademark blend of frenetic energy, seasoned competence, and unrelenting good humour. It was a pleasure to work with her and to be her friend. Regardless of the demands of the workplace, Shelagh and I seemed to spend most of our time discussing our children, who are almost exactly the same age and stage. I know that she was extremely proud of both Dillon and Shannon, and I always enjoyed her stories of their latest extracurricular adventures, whether musical, athletic, or otherwise. I am sorry for your loss and I wish you all strength in this difficult time. Sincerely, Martin Guest
