Obituary of Jacobus van Heyst

van HEYST, Jacobus ("Koos") Peacefully at the Westbury Long-Term Care Residence, Toronto on Friday, July 4, 2008. Predeceased by his wife Eileen (Major). Much loved father of Carina (Andy McLachlan). Special Opi to James McLachlan. Brother of Caroline (Kietie) de Beaufort and Henriette (Etty) Castendijk, both in the Netherlands. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Westbury and to his very special caregivers, Leonandro Alialy and Judy Tupas. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7th. Ashes to be scattered in the sea which he loved so much.
