Obituary of Robert Connell

Connell, Robert (Bob) John Crawford Died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, next to his beloved wife of almost 40 years, Jeanne. Adored father of BJ, Jennifer, Julie and JoAnne (Daniel). Survived by his sisters Shirley (Scott) Maynard and Ruth Connell, his nieces, nephew and their families, and his extended family. A proud lifelong resident of Leaside, Bob was a former Naval reservist, member of G.T.M.A.A. and Support 7 volunteer, admired baseball coach, model railroader, train enthusiast and friend to all he met. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14th. Funeral service will be held in NORTHLEA UNITED CHURCH, 125 Brentcliffe Road, on Monday, December 15th at 2:00 p.m. The family requests that donations be made to The Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation or Wounded Warriors Canada.
