Many years ago, before marriage & kids it was Bob's birthday at the D&R RR club. Don't recall all details but Bob was getting the paddywacks and wasn't reacting. To our amazement Bob had stuffed a book in his pants. We all howled.
Just one of very fond memories. RIP Bob. Condolences to the family.

To the Connell Family: We were shocked to hear of Bob's passing. We were his clients at CG&B and always loved the interaction with him. What a wonderful sense of humour. His jokes were always memorable as was his conscientious service to us. We can't imagine what you're going through but please know he'll be sorely missed. Our sincere condolences.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. I knew Bob and his family when I worked at the Freshmart in Manitowaning. We always knew when Bob and his family were in town. They all would stop by to say hi and ask how the winter was. Bob always had a story to tell. RIP Bob, you will missed here on Manitoulin Island.

Bob, how can you do this to me. Your dad was one of the first people I met when I started working at CB&B and during my interview, we didn't actually talk about work but quickly realized we were from the same neighbourhood and had plenty of fun stuff to talk about. Deepest and Heartfelt sympathies to all the Connell Family. The whole world will be different now without Bob in it. Everyone will miss all his jokes and his great sense of caring and humour.
