Dear Ginger,
How sad it is when such a wonderful gentleman passes away. He was such a delightful, considerate person, with a great sense of humour. We hope your grief will dissolve into wonderful, warm memories of almost half a century together. Your children and grandchildren are a lasting legacy. We will always remember him with fondness, and for all the values he embodied.

Upon returning from a trip this past Friday, we were saddened to learn the news of Gordon’s passing. We are so sorry that we missed the visitation and funeral and send our deepest sympathy to Ginger, Jane and Don, John and Kim. Our parents, Bill and Betty Colter, spent many happy years living at 9 Thornwood and felt so fortunate to have wonderful friends as their landlords. Gordon was such a kind, gentle, caring man and we will always remember his kindness to our whole family. He will be deeply missed. Trish Colter and Paul Read, Ann and Alan Christie.

We were truly sad to learn of Gordon's passing. He was a wonderful man who was always more interested in others than himself. I valued his friendship and our chats whenever I was at the house or condo. He and Ginger always made me feel a part of the family and he will be truly missed. Regards, Phil (& Cindy)

Dear Ginger: We are sorry to hear of Gordon's passing. We had been looking forward to seeing you and Gordon when we get home from Africa in mid-December. Even though 40 years have passed we both appreciate how Gordon mentored Jim in his business career and Jim will find it impossible to replace Gordon as a source for sage and honourable counsel. Our condolences to you, John and Jane and their families. Jim & Sandra
