Obituary of Dorothy Blackstone

BLACKSTONE, Dorothy Jean (nee Elliott) September 21, 1915 - October 25, 2014 Peacefully at Christie Gardens, Toronto on Saturday, October 25, 2014, in her 100th year. Wife of the late Leslie John "Bus" Blackstone (1947). Loving mother of Stephanie, mother-in-law of Jean-Marc Charron and grandmother of Christian. Also predeceased by her sister Margaret Helston. Dear aunt of Penny (Jim) Cosgrove, Peter (Carol) Helston and the late Robin Helston, and their families. She enjoyed life to the fullest and lived each day with courage and humour. A service will be held in TIMOTHY EATON MEMORIAL CHURCH EAST CHAPEL, 230 St. Clair Avenue West on Monday, November 10 at 2:00 p.m. with visiting one hour prior to the service. Reception to follow the service. If desired, donations to the Toronto Humane Society or Timothy Eaton Memorial Church would be appreciated.
