Sue and Family: I was so very sorry to hear of Wayne's sudden passing. I got to know Wayne when he was Board Chair of FaithLife Financial and I was Corporate Secretary from 2009 to 2012. I apologize for the late tribute but I was unaware of Wayne's passing until yesterday. It was always a pleasure to work with Wayne and he was very gracious and respectful. While our loved ones may leave us here on earth, their memories will always be present and we can be grateful for the legacy that they left. And we can rejoice in the day when we will see them again. My sincere condolences for your loss - know that Wayne was truly loved. May the Lord continue to provide comfort and encouragement to you at this time. Blessings Carolyn (Worthington) Ibele

Dear Sue, It is with great sorrow that we learned of Wayne's passing from Jean (Thompson) Bishop. Many years have passed and a lot of space, since Wayne and I grew up in Valois but I have always been conscious of the friendship and fun we had. I am so glad that we had the opportunity a couple of years ago of renewing our friendship and we are really sorry that you and Wayne did not get a chance to visit us in Australia. Our thoughts are with you, Sue, I know how much you depended on Wayne. take care and let us know how you are getting on.

To Sue and the 3 boys, I was shocked to hear of Wayne's sudden passing. He was a mensch, as they say in my Tribe, a gentle man. I enjoyed corresponding with him throughout the years and his semi-annual visits to my place to select baseball or hockey games he was going to attend. I will miss that. We always traded "war stories" concerning our health and all seemed fine. He had visited me at the TGH after I had had an angioplasty. While there, after arranging a TV for the Monday night NFL game for the 5 of us in the room, I experienced some more chest pain. So I had to leave Wayne and off I went for another angiogram. Nothing showed up but I was stuck in an ICU for the night. Great nurses, one of whom talked all night. I got out that next day and Wayne had been my only visitor. A mensch. They say "time heals all" but I know it will be sometime before you return to anything resembling "normalcy". I, too, will be thinking of him often. With warmest regards. Paul

Dear Sue and family,
I still cannot believe Wayne is gone. His voicemail greeting of "This is Wayne Musselman kindly leave a message" has been going through my head for the last 2 days.
I want to thank you for the love and support you have all shown me in the last few days.
Everyone laughs when I share my Blue Jays stories about Wayne. Wayne never let me pay for anything at Rogers Centre except the time I paid $6.95 for CrackerJacks. He was that type of guy, friend, mentor, and "father figure" to me.

Mrs. Musselman and family, I first met Mr. Musselman when I joined Touche Ross in 1988. I was in their Marketing Department and worked with Mr. Musselman and his secretary Debbie Allen on many events over the 10 years I was there. He was such a kind man, always smiling and very interesting to talk to. I believe he was even a clown in the Santa Claus Parade! My condolences to you on the loss of your husband and father.

Dear Susan and family, I offer my sincere sympathies upon the loss of Wayne. Wayne and I both began our careers in the Montreal office of Touche Ross and both spent a good part of our professional careers serving the Japanese practice of the firm. I remember Wayne as a superb professional, keenly serving the unique needs of our Japanese clients in Canada. He was consistent, reliable and loyal. He had a large number of admiring followers among those serving our Japanese practice. He was among the few who had the respect and confidence of Tomita-san. I am proud to have been his partner and friend. Our relationship was primarily professional, however i am aware of some of his outside activities such as being a clown in parades. This demonstrates the breadth of his personality. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. Bob Campbell

Dear Susan and family: I am a retired partner with Deloitte who worked with Wayne when he first moved to Ottawa in the early 70's, whereafter he moved to Toronto and I to Calgary. I am so sorry to hear that he passed away, much too early and give you my heartfelt sympathy and prayers. I enjoyed my time with Wayne. He was a great supervisor to me, as senior, and was a wonderful teacher and mentor. I will miss him. Sincerely with my warmest thoughts and prayers. John
