Obituary of Mary Gooderham Allin

ALLIN, Mary Frances Gooderham "Fran" Passed away in Baltimore, Maryland on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the age of 92. Fran is survived by her loving and adoring husband of 59 years, Vincent W. Allin. Mother of Martha Diver (Stanley), Philip Allin (Carol) and Victoria Hinton (Bryan). Grandmother of Lisa, Kristen, Allin, Michele, Vinnie, Scott and Danny; and great-grandmother of Emma. Her parents, Frances J. and Colonel Albert E. Gooderham Jr., and brother Albert E. Gooderham III all predeceased her. Fran grew up in Toronto, attended Bishop Strachan School, Trinity College of the University of Toronto and the Ontario College of Education, and then worked as a teacher at several schools. She served as a section officer in the RCAF and was an Associate of Sisterhood of St. John the Divine. Fran married and moved to the United States. As well as raising children, teaching and tutoring, Fran was dedicated to living out her faith through commitment to many causes and churches and supporting those who needed help. A service of interment will be held in ST.
