Obituary of Julie Mauceri

MAUCERI, Julie (nee Ivanyshyn) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Julie Mauceri, RN, MN, CNN(C) on Sunday, September 21, 2014. Beloved wife of Sal. Loving mother, endlessly devoted to Graham and Lauren. Dear daughter of Olga and Tony Ivanyshyn and daughter-in-law of Carmela and the late Frank Mauceri. She will be deeply missed by her two brothers, Steve and Bruce, sisters-in-law, many nieces and extended family. An exceptional nurse who dedicated her life to caring for others, Julie completed her Masters in Nursing and also gained neuroscience certification demonstrating her professional passion and recognizing her expertise. She continually supported nursing excellence in others through her teaching and leadership as the Clinical Nurse Educator, Trauma/Neurosurgery ICU, St. Michael's Hospital. She was proud of her outstanding and nationally recognized work as co-founder of the TIPSY injury prevention program for youth. Friends and family are welcome to come celebrate her life at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28. A private family service will be held at a later date.
