Dear Elsa and Theo and Family; The Grosskopf family offers you our condolences for your loss. I remember Uncle John as a strong force at every family occasion. Martin and I knew better than to misbehave around him, but at the same time he was always willing to help us with every project we were busy with and he would always give us good advice. He was obviously very smart and we respected him for his work ethic and for being able to seemingly build anything by hand himself. Times at your cottage were fun; and I know Uncle John and Tante Elsa kept our parents laughing while we explored the beach. I still miss the off-tune Christmas carols that we sung in multi-languages to keep all the mothers happy on Christmas day - Uncle John just as loud as the rest of us hackers. Thank you for your nice speech Theo, it was perfect for our memory of John, may he rest in peace, Peter and Family
