To Ted's family. I had the pleasure of serving in the Rifles with Major Ted in Europe in the late fifties at 4 Brigade Headquarters in Soest. I hope this evokes memories for his children who were very young at the time. Ted was supported by a great wife, Edith. They were a gracious and thoughtful couple, very highly thought of by a "flock" of junior officers. He was a great example of a dedicated, veteran officer. I thoroughly enjoyed knowing him. "Rest easy, soldier. You've done your duty" Goodbye Ted. You will be remembered as will Edith. Herb and Marianne Pitts.

Bob and I send our thoughts to the family. We will always think of Ted with fond recollections of the several times we met and how he was so proud of his family. The measure of a man is founded not only on his accomplishments but on the respect and affection he earned and shared.
