Sincerest sympathy to all Bev's family. Our history goes back to our days at St. Mike's Hospital. She arrived about 2 weeks after me. We both tried to get into the lab course but it was full so Bev and I made a deal with Sr. Teresa Marie that each of us would work half time and take the course half time. The nuns thought we would take 2 years to finish the course but we both tried the exam after one year and were very happy to pass with flying colours. I was with Bev at Varsity Skating Rink the night she met Tom. She was so nervous that she asked me to go with her to Alton Lewis on Yonge Street to buy an outfit for their first date. We used to ski (at High Park - big hill!!!) and bowl together. After we were both married, we would play couples bridge at each other's home. I can remember babysitting Rick over Tom's father's drugstore. Those were the days! Bev was a great gal and lots of fun. I'm sure she'll be missed by all.
