Obituary of Carol Towner-Todd
TOWNER-TODD, Carol Edythe
Peacefully, in her 60th year, on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loved ones. Predeceased by her parents Edgar and Edythe, Carol was a loving wife to her husband Alan Todd for 34 wonderful years, and was a great mother and mentor to her stepdaughter Cynthia (Paul Perrow). Survived by her brother-in-law Norman, and her sister-in-law Susan, together with her nieces Allison Puhl and Megan. She was a very proud great-aunt to Sarah and Riley Puhl. Her business career in finance saw Carol travel the world and crisscross North America as a successful senior executive and consultant. More importantly, she had that rare ability to bring out the best in the people she came in contact with. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 13 and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday, July 14. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, July 15 at 11:00 a.m. A private interment will follow a reception in the funeral home.
