Obituary of Neil MacNaughtan

MacNaughtan, Neil Alexander Suddenly at the cottage at the age of 85. Sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Bingham MacNaughtan (nee Watson), son, Alexander Watson MacNaughtan (Dorothy Acs), daughter, Sarah Bingham Curcione (Nino), son, Andrew Neil MacNaughtan (deceased), and his partner Alex Kane Privitera. Brother-in-law to Susan Nelson (nee Watson) (Jeremy). Grandchildren Phillip Nino Curcione and Samantha Olivia Bingham Curcione. Neil was born in Parry Sound. He arrived in Toronto to attend OCA where he graduated top of his class, which led to a career in graphic arts and design. He was very involved with the 48th Highlanders of Canada as captain of the cadet corps for many years. He was a great lover of nature and animals. His summers at the cottage at Sandy Bay, and boating on Georgian Bay were very special to him. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 10:00 a.m until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9th.
