My condolences to Barbara, Alex, Sarah and families. I knew Neil back in public school, which is more than a few years ago. We sat beside each other in our home room in grade 10 and chummed together through high school. We kept in contact through the years and I often saw Neil and Barbara at Sandy Bay, sometimes with my wife Laura when she dared to go in the boat with me. He had a good life and was a great guy. Sorry I cannot attend the service on wednesday.

I will always have numerous delightful memories of my dear friend Neil. We lived only a block apart in Parry Sound and grew up as very close buddies. We boated together. hunted and fished as well as were good at devising our very own mischief on occasion. From Neil's father, we quite often received a scolding for our overly adventurous activities ! Neil was a fine friend indeed ! He was best man at my wedding in Oct. 1951. We have always kept in touch . Telephone conversations were certainly happy ones ! Never will I forget the great times Neil and I shared growing up with our school chums in Parry Sound. I shall miss him dearly , and remember him always... May he rest in peace !

Jason and I have enjoyed being next door neighbours on Walmsley Blvd with Neil and Barbara for the last 8 yrs. Neil was always out puttering in the garden, shovelling the walk in the winter and occasionally up a ladder rescuing their beloved cat stuck in a tree. He was good for a chat anytime, actively interested in our lives and was always kind to our children. We will miss him very much.
