Obituary of Sven Linholm

Sven Artur Linholm "…each of us blazes our own unique orbit around our nearest star…" Sven passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014. Born in 1928 to Daisy (Meerits) and Artur Linholm in Tallinn, Estonia, he was predeceased by brothers Nils and Holger, and half-sister Tuulike (Shaw). He was the loving husband of Mary (Syme), who we lost in 2009. He will be remembered by in-laws Aime Linholm, and Evelyne and Paul D. Syme, and by nieces and nephews Eric, Paul, Geoffrey, Hugh, Pamela, Ann, Clay, Matthew, David, Douglas, Daphne and Jennifer. We are grateful for the care given by Julia Rath during his last four years. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, with a service to follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. A donation in Sven's memory to Sunnybrook Hospital or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
