Obituary of Mark Webber
WEBBER, Marcaka CHAMBERS, MarcAfter a courageous battle with cancer, Marc passed away at Toronto General Hospital on Friday, May 2nd, 2008. Marc was a well-known broadcaster in Toronto through his involvement with 1050 CHUM, The Weather Network, the Toronto Argonauts, Humber College, The MediaTech Group, The Voice Depot and his many other projects. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan on April 16th, 1956 and raised in Vancouver, Marc was the son of Vera and Robert Webber, brother to Sue, Dave, Steve and Barb, step-brother to Colin and Sherry and uncle to twelve nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his partner of twenty years, Deborah Roy, the love of his life. With his big voice and friendly outgoing nature, Marc won the hearts of thousands of fans, students and friends over the years. His strength and positive disposition over the last two years is an inspiration to all. Many thanks to the staffs of Princess Margaret and Toronto General Hospitals, with special thanks to Janet and Maureen. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W.
