Obituary of Gwladys Tanner

GWLADYS AUBERTA TANNER Peacefully at home on February 25, 2014. Gwladys will be greatly missed by her husband Gerald, relatives and her many friends, who loved and admired her for her kindness and generosity. Gwladys was a dedicated teacher who prided herself in successfully teaching all children in her care. She set high standards for herself and for those who worked with her. She taught at Eglinton Public School, Maurice Cody and Blythwood. Special thanks go to Dr. Goodall and all of the wonderful caregivers who allowed Gwladys to stay at home and die with dignity. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Sunday, March 2nd from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
