I have many special memories that have lasted over 50 years of "Mr. Bolte" as he was to me. Our family were neighbours on St. Clements Ave. and I have so many fond, fun and touching recollections of Aug. He always shared good cheer, had a kind word and a twinkle in his eye when I was in his presence. I felt welcomed, understood and somehow encouraged after being with him.
I send love and best wishes to Sandra, Paul and families at this time. Each one of you have aspects of his fine character, so he lives on. My thoughts are with you all.

Auguste was our neighbour for a few years and we always enjoyed his quick wit and pleasant demeanour. We remember he swam every morning bright and early, always out and about, very active, and admired his wonderful spirit and joie de vivre. A true gentleman.

We just learned of the passing of August and were very moved to hear of your loss. We were August's neighbours on the penthouse floor and always enjoyed a joke or story together. He had a great sense of humour and had a real twinkle in his eye. I know the ladies enjoyed his atttention. Please accept our deepest sympathies to Sandra and your family. Rick and Kay

We were so sorry to hear about Aug. I have many fond memories of your parents and I was lucky enough to go to Curtain Bluff with my parents and your parents years ago. Snorkelling with your Father every morning was a fun way to start my days and when I got married he wrapped up a sand dollar that he had saved from our trip with a wonderful message. Please accept our deepest sympathies from the Hemmerick family.
