ROSS, IanQuietly, holding hands with his family, Ian, in his 90th year, passed away on April 15th, 2008. To his wife Margaret of 60 years, his daughter Jocelyn, her husband Bill and all those who knew him, his loss is immeasurable. Past President and CEO of Murray and Company, Ian was also a generous donor to the AGO and ROM. Known for his integrity and commitment to ethical business practices, Ian was widely respected in the financial sector. His devotion and generosity to family and friends was unending. Jocelyn and Bill are honored to thank Allan Rodrigo and his family for the care, love and respect they have shown our dad over the past 3 ½ years. With Allan's constant assistance and devotion, Ian was comfortable and remained dignified until the end. The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff of 2 West at Kensington Gardens for the sincerity of their care. An amazing lover of dogs, and having one always by his side, donations to the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, National Office and Training Centre, P.O. Box 280, 4120 Rideau Valley Drive N.N., Manotick, Ontario K4M 1A3 would be welcomed. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday, April 20th. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, April 21st at 11 a.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, followed by a luncheon in honour of his life in the Leaside and Bayview Rooms of the funeral home.
