Obituary of Gloria Mitchell

MITCHELL, Gloria Lorraine (nee Anten) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15 at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Gloria was predeceased by her son, Stephen and brother, Daniel. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Joyce Macmillan (Alistair), Vivian Anten and Susan Anten, her nephew, David Van Hout, her best friend, Dawn McKillop, her wide circle of friends here and in Nova Scotia and her wonderful neighbours. Although diagnosed with an advanced stage of cancer, her positive attitude and the skill of the team under Dr. Vishal Kukreti at Princess Margaret Hospital gave her 7 more valuable years. Our thanks to Dr. Kukreti and the palliative care staff at Toronto General Hospital who made her last days comfortable. The family will receive friends in the chapel of the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W.
