Obituary of Mary Shea

SHEA, Mary Elizabeth Martin Mary E.M. Shea, born December 31, 1931 died peacefully at home on December 20, 2013 surrounded by her family and care givers. While she leaves her children Stephen (Cynthia), Ellen Pugliese (Vince), Margaret Moore (Sherman), Michael (Susan), Robert and Audrey Chaput (Gerry), she will be welcomed into God's kingdom by her husband Dr. Michael Shea. Grammie will be dearly missed by her brother, Robert Martin (Holden MA, USA), 13 grandchildren, brothers in law (Stephen and John), sisters in law (Jan and Margaret) and all her nieces and nephews. The family is also indebted to her loving caregivers, Vicky and Jeanet, for their kindness, compassion and dedication over the past 2 years. Mary devoted her life to family, the Church and helping others. A supportive member of her community, and winter resident of Casa del Mar, Longboat Key, FL, she was active with Meals on Wheels, volunteering at St. Michael's Hospital and the Rosary Group at her Churches in Toronto and Longboat Key, FL. She touched the souls of many with her faith and kindness. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue), from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22nd. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23rd at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 78 Clifton Road, Toronto.
