Obituary of Norman Curtis

CURTIS, Norman Passed away at St. Michael's Hospital on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the age of 86, after a short illness. Predeceased by his wife Patricia (d. 2007), who he loved dearly. Proud father of Alison (Gilbert) and Simon. Adored grandfather of Daniele, Ariane and Nico. He will be missed by all his family and numerous friends. Norman led a full life. A native of England, he emigrated to Canada with Pat in 1956. His work career culminated in many years as President and then Chairman of Guardian Insurance Company of Canada. In retirement, he traveled extensively and engaged in his passion for opera. A remembrance to celebrate his life will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W.
