Obituary of Margaret Regan

REGAN, Margaret Elizabeth Carol (nee Simister) - Born December 25, 1923 in Ingersoll, Ontario. Most beloved and dear wife of the late John B. Regan. Loving mother of Chris (Diana), Mike (the late Michele), Rob (Christy), Margie (Cam Grant). Adored grandmother of Becky and Eric Regan, Danielle and Ashley Regan, Trevor, Kim and Patrick "PJ" Regan, John and Beth Grant. Marnie "Sim" graduated from the Toronto General Hospital School for Nurses in 1946 and worked at the Toronto General Hospital becoming one of the head operating room nurses until 1952 when she married John B. Regan who she was married to for nearly 60 years. Marnie was a member of Big Sisters of Canada, President of the Guild of Ursuline Junior School, past Captain of Donalda Golf Club and Beacon Hall Golf Club. Marnie was an offshore member of the Mid Ocean Club in Bermuda and enjoyed many years of membership and participation in the Winter Golf League. Marnie provided her family with the greatest of love, guidance and care for which they will be forever grateful and in admiration of. A celebration of her life will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20.
