MONK, Karen Joy On November 8, 2013, Scarborough, Ontario. Beloved wife of Kenneth Dwain Monk. Born October 16, 1952, Toronto. Daughter of Kenneth and Kitty Nakamura. Karen married Ken June 28, 1997 at Danforth Community Church, Toronto. Sister to Kerwin Nakamura, Kelly Nakamura, Mrs. Jim Moir of Toronto and Kristine Nakamura of Vancouver, B.C. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 7 - 9 p.m. on Tuesday November 19th, 2013. A memorial service will be held in DANFORTH COMMUNITY CHURCH, 1050 Danforth Avenue on Wednesday November 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation. A private interment will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery.
