So very sad to hear of Peter-John's passing. He was an Essex High School friend with whom I shared many good conversations, often involving Johnny Carson's monologue from the previous night or the latest Elton John album. He e-mailed a "Happy Retirement" wish a couple years ago and ended it by quoting Elton John, "Daniel is travelling tonight on a plane. I can see the red tail lights . . ." So typical Peter John - thought provoking with clever wit. Always thought I would get the chance to talk to him again and refresh memories from our school days. What a shame. Way too young.

Tricia, Cassie and family My sincerest condolences on the loss of a great father, wonderful husband and a wise mentor. PJ was such a kind hearted, thoughtful and beyond funny mentor to me and many others. Whether I bumped into him in the hallway at work, the No Frills in Bancroft, or along the Danforth he always had a huge grin on his face, a twinkle in his eye and some sage advice. He will be deeply missed.

No one supported staff like Peter-John did. He encouraged free-thought, creativity and was never afraid to say what needed to be said. He also truly valued his colleagues that did the same. He will be terribly, terribly, missed.

PJ will be missed. He was feisty, fun and had a great mind. No one could beat his flair with words. If you wanted to see PJ's soft side, start him talking about Trish, Cassie and his family. The passion that he brought to his work couldn't match the deep caring for his family. My thoughts are with you during these difficult times.
