Karin, Roman, the grandchildren, the great-grandchildren; the dear niece in CA, and the loved ones in Munich and Salzburg with whom Vlado and Marika were in almost daily contact (Vlado may have been a technophobe, but he was on Skype at 7 a.m. almost daily) – to all of you I want to express my deepest condolences. Vlado and Marika touched so many of us with their warmth and generosity of spirit, their humour, their intellects. They survived the infernal evil of the holocaust, and lived lives of love and giving and creativity. I loved them and will greatly miss them.
