Obituary of Nancy Holland
HOLLAND, Nancy Margaret (nee Wyatt)
Died peacefully at her home in Toronto surrounded by her family and close friends on Wednesday, October 16th, 2013. Predeceased by her husband of 54 years, The Honourable Richard Estcourt Holland, Q.C. Beloved mother of Anne Holland-McCowan (Philip) of California and the late Suzanne Holland Leggett. Adored grandmother of John and Harrison Holland-McCowan. Dear sister of John Angus Wyatt (Lois) and their children Janet Berry (Steve) and Ian Wyatt (Jennifer Perry) of Ottawa. She will be dearly missed by her loyal friends and neighbours. Nancy was raised in Ottawa and studied music at the University of Toronto. She met and married her husband Dick, who proposed and set up their life together on their first date. For many years she was a member of the Women's Committee of the Royal Ontario Museum, volunteered at the Sir William Campbell House and was formerly a member of the Badminton and Racquet Club, The York Club and The Caledon Mountain Trout Club. The family is deeply grateful for the incredible care Nancy received for the past three years from Puring Andres, Carina Cabuso and Andrea Spence. A very special, heartfelt thank you to Dr. Greg Thompson and Dr. Russell Goldman. A Service will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W.
