Dear Peter, Ann, Mary-Ellen and Jeanie, I was so sad to read that Kay had died. As a child in Kingswood in the 50's, I thought Kay was the best of all the mothers. And she was. She was so kind and so much fun. Coming back from school, I always loved staying on the Fairdene School bus beyond my stop, so I could go home with Jeanie and be with your family. Kay and Charlie were a huge part of my early life. Not the least was that Charlie taught me to dive when he took Jeanie and me swimming on Saturday mornings.
