Dear Mary Lynne, Roy, Shannon and Robin,
I was saddened to learn of the passing of Bob. I think of your wonderful family and dear Dorothy, Jack and Judy often. I was so very fortunate to have enjoyed the friendship of Dorothy, a spirited and proud mother and grandmother. Her pride in Bob, his family and his accomplishments was evident. My deepest sympathies to all his family.

I wish to offer our deepest sympathy to all of Bob's family and friends. I had the privilege to work for Bob ay Met Services for almost 20 years. I came to know Bob as a kind gentleman, he was a Father, Son, Brother, and friend to many. I have fond memories of Bob's Father and Mother coming to the office to go for lunch, no matter how tall Bob was Mum was always in charge. Mary Lynne, Andrea, Natalie and Beverly my thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. I am blessed to have know this great man.

Dear Bev: Please accept our condolences on Bob's passing. Although not unexpected, we are still shocked at the sudden departure of a courteous and cultured man. Even though we have only known Bob for two years, he impressed us with his sincerity and good will when we were teammates with you both. We will miss him. Our thoughts are with you. I have lost one of my best friends. We made a connection from the first time we met as pledges in 1962 at Theta Delta Chi Fraternity on the U. of T. campus. We somehow shared the same sense of humour and without fail, even 50 years later, a serious discussion would inevitably end up with the two of us giggling like two 10 year olds. My dearest Uncle Bob you will be missed. Frequently, I remember all our wonderful family celebrations at the farm where you always inquired "Hey Sha how are you doing?". Your interest in my life was always appreciated. I never became very good at tennis but I am thankful for the times you tried to teach me....I have told my 15 year old son, an avid basketball player, who continues to grow taller and taller each day ...."hey did you know your great uncle Bob used to be a mean basketball player and is very, very tall...so your height and basketball skills are in the family!"
