Popsy was one special guy! We will miss his bear hugs and big smile as we arrive at Williams Lake. When our kids were young and visited the Lake, Popsy would treat them like his own grandchildren and take them fishing or even for a boat ride. We have rung in many New Years Eve's with him and my mom joined us for a few years and her and Pops would have wonderful long chats in the sunroom enjoying the view and the company. This year they can reconnect. We love you Pops and will miss you. The Campbell family.

Walter would come over to our place and we loved having him.He would always sit in the same place under the birches facing the lake and have his favored drink.Rum and coke. Our girls taught the world of him and the grand sons respected him as another "Opa".When he couldn't walk that good anymore I took him by the arm or hand and walked him home.I would say to him that we had to watch ourself or people might get the wrong idea.He would have that funny chuckle and give me a gentle sqeeze.I could go on and on about this loveable man.We lost a very dear person but where he went St Peter had the pearly gates wide open and many were waiting with open arms to welcome him.As for Gisela,Grant,Karen,Irv,Andy,Darrin etc you showed a tremendous love for "POPS".He knows he will never be forgotten.Love to all of you.The Somers family.

We are sorry to hear of Walter's passing. We have many fond memories of the Schulz's at Williams Lake. Walter was always searching for minnows for bait to catch the big trout or bass! He always had a smile, hug and a story about his family or current events. Walter will be missed at the "Lake". When asked about what cottage chores needed to be completed Walter always said "dis and dat" Bob & Cynthia Cook
