Obituary of Gertrude Moulton
MOULTON, Gertrude Lillian
Passed away peacefully at Christie Gardens on Wednesday, September 4th, 2013. Gertrude was born in Burgeo, Newfoundland on October 23, 1914, the daughter of John and Valencia Moulton. She had three brothers and three sisters, Reginald, Albert, Edward, Ellen (Nellie), Catherine, Mildred and her cousin Alice Moulton all of whom predeceased her. Gertrude was an RN and served in WWII. Returning after the war she was a Public Health Nurse and Supervisor for the City of Toronto. She has been well cared for by the staff at Christie Gardens especially the last 3½ years by her special caregivers, May, Ligaya (Happy), Lyanchell, Verlyn, Violet and Arlene. Gertrude will be remembered by Cathy and Chesley Clarke of Newfoundland, Max and Annie Pardy of Larder Lake, Norma and Roger Mansfield of Milton and by her friends John Goodwin and Peter Ricketts. A service will be held at ST. CLEMENTS EGLINTON CHURCH, 70 St. Clements Avenue on Friday, September 20th at 11:00 a.m. If desired, a donation to St. Clements Church, St. Simons Church or your favourite charity would be appreciated.
