It's no secret that Vanessa Taylor is one of my most favourite people. And when I met Anne and Ian—there was the source of all that wit, charm, sweetness and style. Anne is unforgettable. That bright smile and those sparkling eyes will stay with me—in my memory of Anne and every time I see Vanessa.

Dear Auntie Anne, You are so so missed. I will treasure all our email correspondence and there is one particular one that stands out. It was when I had just announced my pregnancy and you sent a congratulations note. With it you included a quote which said 'baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.' I loved it (and it is so true). On reflection I think it also shows how precious your family was and particularly Trevor and Vanessa. Dear Ian and family
We remember the first time we met Anne at your home. She cooked a wonderful vegetarian dinner welcoming us to the Unionville community. Afterwards I would see her at the Unionville festival and then frequently at the gym. We shared many day to day events while we hurriedly showered!!! I remember her excitement planning and then going to India with you, Ian. It was a highlight in her life. She was remarkable in her gentle nature, her warmth and her ability to befriend a stranger. Steve and I would like you to know we thought highly of her and are so sad that she is no longer here to share her gifts. But in our hearts she will always be the memory of a very nice person.

Dear Ian and family – We were so sad to learn of Anne’s death. We have such good memories of Anne at the many Monarch events over the years. It was with great sadness that I read about Anne's passing today. I knew her as an inspiring yoga teacher, and also as a friend to share coffee and confidences with. Although we hadn't been in touch since she moved, I thought of her often and am sure she approached her illness with the same inner strength and fortitude that she displayed throughout her life.
