Obituary of William Stadelman

STADELMAN, William Ralph Passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital on Monday, August 12, 2013, in his 95th year. Predeceased by his wife Jean and his brothers, John (Mary) and Duart. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Laren Stadelman, and grandsons Robert and Michael Meaney. President of the Ontario Research Foundation, he was a strong supporter of industrial research and innovation. A member of the Club of Rome, he sought to understand and help address the challenges facing our planet. He was devoted to family, in particular, his late wife, Jean. He was a man with many interesting stories to tell and one who always delighted in sharing his point of view. He will be missed. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19. Private family arrangements are planned.
