Obituary of Lori Ann Lovrics
LOVRICS, Lori Ann (nee Brown)It is with great sadness that we announce Lori's sudden death on January 27, 2008, 4 days short of her 48th birthday. Lori Ann was first born child to proud parents Florence and Donald Brown, on January 31st, 1960, in Scarborough, Ontario. Lori was a very happy child who enjoyed music, art and swimming. As a child she completed Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 10 piano with honours, studied art courses throughout her life and achieved Bronze Medallion level in swimming while also competing in the Scarborough Synchronized Swim Club. Lori graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelors degree in Sociology in 1982. Lori had many passions which also included reading, decorating, gardening and animals. Her love of these flourished with the special time on the 'Farm' with her family she loved so very much. She leaves behind her dedicated husband George (Geza) of 22 years, and much cherished children Christine and Viktoria (Tori). Sadly missed by her mother Florence Brown and Barry Morton, sisters Cathy (Adam Cooper) and Allyson (Michael Marcolini) and the Dioszeghy, Lovrics and Brown families. The family will receive friends in the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), on Thursday, January 31, 2008 from 6-9p.m. with a Funeral Mass on Friday February 1st, 2008 at 11am.
