Obituary of Jane Wodehouse

Jane Valerie Wodehouse (nee Toller) Jane (Tiny) Wodehouse died in her sleep on Sunday, July 14, 2013. Jane was predeceased by her loving husband, Maj (Retired) Dr. George Wodehouse (1996), and daughters Sally (1968), and Diana (2010). Jane is survived by her son-in-law Mark Setchell, grandsons LCdr Scott Setchell (LCdr Nancy Setchell) and Adam Setchell (Mairi Setchell). Jane was a loving great-grandmother (GG) to Nora Jane Setchell, Robyn Elaine Setchell, and George Parker Setchell. Beloved Aunt Jane to so many, especially David and Debby Beatty and Barb Taylor and Doug Reid. While short in stature, Jane was not short in character. Nor was she short of an opinion on current events or willingness to share colourful stories with a voice that belied her size. Jane enjoyed the best things in life: summer on the lake, golf at the Toronto Golf Club, lobster, high heels, bridge with friends at the Badminton and Racquet Club, and gin martinis (with two olives). She will be missed by her family and dear friend, Mrs. Pamela Biggs. The family would like to thank Monica and the thoughtful employees of the Amica at the Balmoral Club for enabling her to live on her own terms. A funeral service will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W.
